Chronicles are a unique new way to tell stories. Chronicles are journals of one or more multimedia vignettes; each vignette is like a chapter in your story. Each vignette is located on a map and placed on a timeline for context. Easily organize your existing notes, photos and videos. You can record audio annotations for your Chronicle and each Vignette to help capture the sprit and essence of your story with your voice or background soundscapes.

Share Your Story

Share your Chronicle with your family and friends. When you share we send an email with a simple link to your Chronicle and a tap or click in any smart phone or web browser the Chronicle Viewer & Player opens and your story is ready to be told with timeline, collage, map views and automatic play modes.

Make Travel Journals and Keepsake Albums

Make PDF albums and travel journals with our new Book Builder (Beta). On ChroniclesofEarth.com you can now sign in and view, share and make PDF albums and travel journals. The PDF file of your Chronicle is ready for any quick printing service. If you want to have it bound with a cover, page margins are set to support: coil bound paperback, perfect bound paperback or hardcover bookbinding.

The travel journal style includes a personal details page so you can keep important information and numbers in another place besides your smart phone, which is always a good idea when you are traveling. You can make note of information like: name and phone numbers for your doctor, blood group and RH, allergies and vaccination. It also includes maps and blank pages for making notes when you are out in the field and don’t have a wireless connection.

Select album style if you want to make keepsake albums. Each photo is presented full size with one or two photos per page depending upon the size of the original and its orientation. Maps are included to help you remember the exact location of each Vignette. Blank pages for notes and the personal details page are not included.

Works When Off The Grid Too!

When you are without Wi-Fi or cellular data access you can still make Chronicles. If you are roaming globally you can sync and share your Chronicles when you want to help minimize charges.

Privacy Controls

You control who sees your Chronicle. Make your Chronicle public and viewable by all or your Chronicle can be private and viewable only by yourself and anyone you share it with. You can make any Vignette in your Chronicle private and viewable only by you.
